Hello to my lovely future readers,
I thought it was only fitting to introduce myself by way of Adele on my very first CB&Co. post to give me a little boost of the ol’ confidencé. I first want to say thank you, thank you for taking the time to read this and for giving me a chance, a chance to not only open up on topics that I love and I am truly passionate about, but to share this adventurous life with you. I know, you may think “passionate about frivolous things?”. But my love for hair and makeup started when I was only 3. By the age of 3, I could perfectly apply my grandmothers lipstick without a mirror, and always had a tube of red lips lying around. Doesn’t every 3 year old? By the age of 4 my other sweet grandmother embedded her love for nail polish in me and from that point on I was in deep…the rest was history.
Unfortunately, my love for fashion came later in life (no #TBT’s here). My years of slip on Birkenstocks, bell bottoms, Steve Madden clogs, dark brown lipstick and an even darker lip liner might I add, all mixed with my hair rolled into glittery butterfly clips will always make for a nice slice of humble pie.
Since the chocolate brown lips & butterfly clips I have grown, grown to love not only hair and makeup but being creative in general. I feel when I make the time to sit down and think creatively I turn back into that spunky 3 year old with the bright red lips ready to conquer whatever the world brings my way, whether I am just trying to plan an outfit for a date night or sitting down with my momma to paint a watercolor heart for my husband always makes this life so much sweeter.
I am so happy and excited to finally face my fears and start this dream that I have had for over four years. On CB&Co. I hope to bring you inspiration on life, fashion, beauty, home decor, and share my love of travel. Somewhere along the way I truly hope to make you laugh a time or two and bring joy to your life as my biggest joy in life is making someone smile and laugh. I hope to continue to grow and build a foundation where we can support and build one another up in a time where people are so quick to tear someone down. Thank you for joining me along this journey and I look forward to growing a lasting relationship with each and every one of you.
