A comfortable and casual romantic outfit for your next date night with your love, best friend, or all by yourself.
Enjoy!
I am always looking for acceptable outfits for a night out that give me the feeling I am at home cozied up. Let’s face it, it’s hard to get me out the house so a comfortable outfit is like my very own introvert pacifier to give me that little “attagirl” to get me out the door. This Valentine’s Day we are catching a movie after work and then plan on celebrating at home over the coming weekend. I am excited to make one of our favorite meals: fresh salmon, creamed spinach, with a side of my sweet momma’s candied pecan and sweet potato casserole. The only thing left to figure out is dessert. I plan on talking my lover into getting my favorite cheesecake, from a local restaurant (fingers crossed). This cheesecake is what dreams are made of. I am counting the minutes until I dig in.
One thing I am loving about this cozy knit is how I can pair it perfectly for a date night out by adding a pair of heels or for a casual night in paired with distressed boyfriend denim jeans while barefoot by the fireplace.
This blush off the shoulder sweater was all “MINE” the moment I laid eyes on it, and I knew I “HAD” to have it for our next date night. I love pairing patent pumps with simple frayed denim jeans. Leaving a simply bare neck gives this look a laid back yet sexy feeling, perfect for a date night. To finish my look, I simply added a pair of thin gold hoop earrings and voilà I am ready.
What are your plans for this Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to hear.
